Don’t get frustrated wandering around the city looking for that famous skate spot. 

So you are visiting New York City or maybe you have family coming into the city and you are looking for something different to do, a fun and exciting activity to try.  Real NYC adventure tours are hard to come by, you know.. for people like us.  Not exactly a rock climbing, white water rafting, kinda town.  Most tours involve sitting a bus and riding from site to site with a charismatic guy chirping facts and fellow tourists snapping pictures. That’s not exactly the way we roll.

Who can participate?

• Everybody.  Parents and participants who are not comfortable skateboarding, can rent a bike, bring their skates, or we can arrange a walk-able tour.
• First timers obsessed with learning how to skateboard.
• Former skaters itching for a comeback tour
• Core skateboarding fanatics who want the chance to skate some of New York City’s sickest spots
• Vert skaters looking to check out the many city skate parks
• Longboarders looking to cruise on a through Central Park to Midtown, or a romantic granite and marble sunset on the Hudson in Battery Park.

Experienced or not, if you love to skate or love somebody who loves to skate, Uptown Skate School can help make your vacation in New York City unlike any trip you have ever taken.
