Skateboarding Vacation Tours

So you are visiting New York City or maybe you have family coming into the city and you are looking for something different to do, a fun and exciting activity to try. Real NYC adventure tours are hard to come by, you know.. for people like us. Not exactly a rock climbing, white water rafting, kinda town. Most tours involve sitting a bus and riding from site to site with a charismatic guy chirping facts and fellow tourists snapping pictures. That’s not exactly the way we roll.

Don’t get frustrated wandering around the city looking for that sick skate spot. Don’t worry about having to trek out with your kids and sit around and wait for them to get done skating. Relax. We’ve got your covered. Take a skateboarding tour with us.

Who can participate?

Everybody. Parents and participants who are not comfortable skateboarding, can rent a bike, bring their skates, or we can arrange a walk-able tour.
First timers obsessed with learning how to skateboard.
Former skaters itching for a comeback tour
Core skateboarding fanatics who want the chance to skate some of New York City’s sickest spots
Vert skaters looking to check out the many city skate parks
Longboarders looking to cruise on a through Central Park to Midtown, or a romantic granite and marble sunset on the Hudson in Battery Park.

Spring has sprung and Open Road of New York is hosting the King Of Spring Skateboard Showdown at Thomas Jefferson Park in NYC on Saturday, April 17th. Billy Rohan, Alex Corporan, and Chad Muska will be there keeping things hyped.

This contest is open to all skateboarders around the world of any age (participants under the age of 16 must get parental approval before participating). All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply. Void wherever prohibited or restricted by law.
